Types of Games On Dart Board
There are a couple of types of games you can play on a dart board one
is cricket the others are 301 and 501.
Cricket is a dart game played on numbers 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and
bull's-eye. This game is played with a minimum of 2 players. The object
of this game is close out each number, this is done by hitting each
number three times. Each number contains a single, double and triple
marker. Allowing the player to close a number out with one single dart.
When a number is closed you can add points onto your overall score until
this same number is closed out by the rest of the players. The end result
is to close out each number and to have the highest score.
Different variations of Cricket include, hidden cricket an electronic
dart game in which the numbers are not revealed by the computer until
they are hit by one of the players. These numbers can be any of the
available numbers on the board including the lower numbers, for example
1 and 2 are now possible.
Cut-Throat Cricket is another fun variation of this dart game. This
can be played with any of the normal dart games. The object of this
game is to have the lowest score. When you close out a number any darts
that land after, will tack on points to all players whom have not closed
out this number within their round. This game can get out of control
and can quickly make enemies out of friends, use caution!
301 & 501 are basically the same game. The object of this darts
game is to count down the score of either 301 or 501 down to zero. The
person who can lower the score the fastest will win. There are a few
catches to this game that make it more fun. If you are close to winning
the game and pass the zero marker, your score automatically moves back
to the begging of that round. This can be aggravating, especially when
you are off by only one or 2 points.
This game also doubles as a great drinking game. Make sure that you
have a good backing around your dart board. 10 to 20 shots in, your
drywall could loose it ability to even hold the board in place!
